The no ending heat in Shanghai

Even tourists took off their shirts

Hiding in the shade from the sun

The temperature in Shanghai reached 38.8 degress Celsius and it is hottest recorded in history! The scorching heat is taking its toll on everyone and is expected to continue for the next few days. At this point, even a little rain fall will be great.

There are definately less people in the downtown shopping malls as people choose to stay at home to escape the searing heat. In the neighbourhood shopping malls, it’s a different story. They are crowded… not with customers but with people looking to enjoy the air-con environment.
