Beautiful WuXi ~






WuXi is a famous city with a long history in sourthern China. The sparkling pearl of the Taihu Lake is a famous spot in WuXi, situated in the southern part of JiangSu Province, ( in the middle of Shanghai-Nanjing Railway). It’s about 2 hours drive from Shanghai with SuZhou in between. The landscape of the city embodies the beauty of the Yangtze River, the Taihu Lake, Turtle-Head Penisula Park, LingShan Grand Buddha Statue.. fountains, gardens and its characteristic of the unique features of the water village in soutnern China.


The LingShan Giant Bronze Buddha is one of the most awe-inspiring sights. It was built several years ago into the side of a large hill overlooking the famous Taihu lake, an ideal location according to Chinese feng-shui. According to the local, the construction of Lingshan Giant Buddha was finished on November 15th 1997, and there are altogether 100,000 eminent monks and disciples watching the opening ceremony.This impressive statue is the largest anywhere in the world, and it can be see from miles away as you drive up. This bronze colossus stands 88 meters tall, and the otus flower pedestal brings the entire structure to over 100 meters! Imagine how huge is that! It is one of the China’s ten major tourist cities and been listed as one of the “China’s Excellent tourist Cities” :) It’s worth to pay a visit…
