As you may have notice, Google AdSense publishers with individual payee accounts in certain countries are now able to choose a new method of payment – Western Union Quick Cash.

This is a payment method that allows you to receive your AdSense payments in cash using the worldwide Western Union money transfer service. Your payments will be available for pick up at your local Western Union Agent the day after they are sent according to Google’s normal payment schedule.

This is a good news for many publishers, you won’t have to wait for a check to arrive in your mail. Choosing to receive your payments by Western Union can also cut down on the bank fees and long clearing times associated with depositing checks.

How do I sign up?

1. Sign in to your account at www.google.com/adsense.
2. Visit the My Account tab.
3. Click the ‘edit’ link adjacent to the ‘Payment Details’ header.
4. Select the Western Union Quick Cash radio button.
5. Click ‘Continue’.
6. Click ‘Save Changes’ to save your payment type.

Make sure that the name on your account exactly matches that on the government issued ID card that you will bring to pick up your Western Union Quick Cash payments. If you need to update your payee name in your account, please contact Adsense. To ensure payment by Western Union Quick Cash for your September earnings, you will need to complete the steps above before October 15th.
